EES for Schools is the leading provider of school support services in the East of England and, uniquely for a local authority provider, has developed a sophisticated software, training and consultancy business with over 4,500 school customers across England and in 21 countries overseas.

EES for Schools provides a range of specialist education support services. Owned by Essex County Council, we work with over 4,500 schools across the UK and in 21 countries worldwide delivering highly-successful and innovative software such as Target Tracker (used by over 25 per cent of primary schools) and School Effectiveness+. We offer training and consultancy services in the areas of school effectiveness and improvement, pupil assessment and progress tracking, clerking, finance, HR, governor services and school library services.






Our team created Target Tracker, the leading target tracking software, and School Effectiveness+, a complete improvement system for schools. We continue to innovate across all of our products and services, adapting to the education landscape to best support our customers.


Our team works with over 4,500 schools across the UK, in 21 countries, and we continue to grow year-on-year.


EES for Schools has been named finalists for the past two years in BETT Awards, Education Investor Awards and Education Resources Awards .

Collaboration is key to our success. We work alongside schools, with our colleagues in Essex County Council and collaboration is also strong internally.

Secondary Standards and Excellence Team

Step 1: Online Application

You can complete a quick online application with us by either uploading your CV or completing an online application form.  You will receive a confirmation email to let you know we have your application.

Step 2: Shortlisting

Once our advertising process has finished, we will review our applications and let you know if we would like to invite you to an interview.  At this stage you may also be invited to join our talent pool where you will receive updates on future opportunities with us.

Step 3: Interview and assessment

The interview and assessment process could take many forms, dependent on the role you are applying for but the recruitment team will always let you know what to expect.

Step 4: Decision

Within a week of your assessment we’ll be able to let you know whether you’ve been successful in applying for a role with us.

Step 5: Compliance safeguarding checks

Once you have been offered a role we will invite you to meet with us to start your pre-employment checks.
