Support Worker – Maison Care – Saresta and Serenade
£9.70 to £10.30 per hour

Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Maison Care to recruit Support Worker for their residential home, Saresta and Serenade.
The shift patterns vary with both full time and part time hours available and will require day, and weekend working (Shared among the team). Shift times can be discussed at interview stage.
Maison Care, founded in 1990, is a specialist and residential provision for adults with autism and learning difficulties. Additional complex needs, health related needs and challenging behaviour supported. Our person-centred plans of care and support are based on the assessed needs of each individual and promote the principles of an ‘ordinary life’, raising aspirations and the feeling of self-worth.
Saresta & Serenade is set in a semi-rural area, situated in Elmstead Market village near Colchester. Saresta & Serenade is a specialist home, registered to provide living accommodation and care for up to 9 people. The home has been adapted for people with severe and complex learning and physical disabilities and health related needs and associated challenging behaviours. The accommodation is a large “family styled” twin five-bedroom Bungalows with a large private rear garden with patio and gazebo area. This home has a winning recognition from service users, Families and local authorities, and in recent years received ‘excellent’ with a 3-star rating in all aspects of care in CQC inspections.
The ideal candidate with have experience working in a challenging and complex environment with a minimum of level 2 in Health and Social Care however this is not essential. You will be fully supported and welcomed into our team, in return you will be expected to provide kind and compassionate care, be confident in your rapport and enjoy helping others to realise their full potential.

As part of employment should your role require a DBS check you will be required to register with the DBS update service. The DBS update service ensures all registered DBS certificates are kept up to date and allows authorised parties to view the status of your certificate.
