Permanent, Full Time and Part Time

£9.50 Per hour

Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting GlenPat Homes Limited to recruit Support Workers for their supported living facility, The Albion Centre.

The shift patterns vary with both full time and part time hours available and will require day, night and weekend working. Shift times can be discussed at interview stage.

At GlenPat Homes Limited, they provide specialist support services for individuals with Learning Difficulties, on the Autistic spectrum, Mental Health and people with other complex needs. They have unparalleled success in helping families to provide fulfilling lives for residents, as well as a strong track record of successfully supporting challenging individuals with non-verbal communication needs.

Due to recent growth, GlenPat are looking for proactive team members to work with individuals in their day to day lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with personal care
  • Assisting with managing finances
  • Encouraging relationship building
  • Supporting with shopping
  • Assisting with attending social and educational activities

Note: ECC are advertising this role on behalf of GlenPat Homes Limited and if successful you will be employed by GlenPat Homes Limited .

As part of employment should your role require a DBS check you will be required to register with the DBS update service. The DBS update service ensures all registered DBS certificates are kept up to date and allows authorised parties to view the status of your certificate.
