School Crossing Patrol Officer - Vacancies across Essex

Come and support your local community by joining Essex County Council’s School Crossing Patrol Team as a School Crossing Patrol Officer.
Support schools once in the morning and once in the afternoon, ensuring the safety of all pedestrians crossing the road to and from school and its surrounding locations.
We are looking for a punctual and reliable individual, who is approachable and enjoys engaging with the public.
We currently have vacancies at the following locations:
Ashingdon - Ashingdon Primary Academy
Basildon - St Anne Line Infant School
Basildon - Vange Primary School
Benfleet - Kents Hill School
Benfleet - Thundersley Primary School
Billericay - Buttsbury Junior School - Fixed Term for 6 months
Billericay - St Peter's Catholic Primary School
Braintree - Great Bradfords Infant and Junior School (PM only)
Brentwood - Ingrave Johnstone Primary School
Brentwood - St Martin’s Secondary School
Brentwood - St Peter's C of E Primary School (PM only - Fixed Term for 6 months)
Buckhurst Hill - St John’s C of E Primary School
Chelmsford - Kings Road Primary School
Chelmsford - Lawford Mead Primary School
Chelmsford - The Bishops C of E and RC Primary School
Colchester - Hazelmere Infant and Junior School
Colchester - Stanway Primary School (12 month FTC, 5 hours per week).

Each position is for 7.5 hours per week approximately (depending on individual site requirements); with a holiday pay element included. You will need to be available to work during the 39 weeks of the academic year. Uniform, equipment, and training will be provided.
