The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Technical Services team.

The Role:

As part of this varied role you will work on the service desk tool to log incidents and service requests, use hardware and software monitors to identify and resolve issues and set new users up on the ICT systems.

You will support the ICT team with O365 administration, system and application upgrades and managing the server backup schedule and be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the network and telephony infrastructure.


To be successful in this role you will have solid experience of IT systems and excellent IT, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and under pressure. A flexible approach to your work is essential, along with an ability to think creatively in order to suggest and initiate process improvements.


  • Operate the service desk tool logging user incidents, problems and service requests
  • Using the hardware and software monitors to identify and fix issues when they arise
  • Setting up new users on the ICT systems, carrying out “housekeeping” as required
  • Adhere to all change management processes
  • Supporting users when they encounter problems in the day-to-day usage of the IT equipment
  • Document new processes as required
  • Support the ICT team with:-
  • O365 support and administration
  • Regular Infrastructure, System and Application updates/upgrades
  • Application administration
  • User and desktop support
  • Server backup systems, changing tapes and managing the backup schedule
  • File/folder/system restores as required
  • Monitoring, support, maintenance of the network/telephony infrastructure
  • Desktop builds, rebuilds and maintenance
