The Role

There is an exciting opportunity for a Communications Officer to join our Housing Team.

Playing a key role in developing, maintaining and promoting a range of communications channels for our tenants, leaseholders, staff members, residents and key stakeholders and ensuring that these, whether delivered online or through newsletters or other communications, are effective and engaging.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will develop and deliver dynamic and innovative ideas to improve our customer communication and engagement to encourage our customers to shape, influence and challenge our services.

Having previously worked in a role where effective communications skills have been demonstrated, you will have good all-round writing ability and be able to identify and utilise the most appropriate and effective means of communicating to diverse audiences. You will also be able to manage multiple tasks at once as well as being customer-focused and be confident working with IT and web content management software packages.

The Experience You Will Bring

  • Good GCSE passes or equivalent in English and Mathematics
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in customer service or commensurate experience
  • Ability to use IT systems including the Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel etc
