The Role
The Facilities Assistant – Cleaner is responsible for ensuring that facilities and resources are suitable for use; and for ensuring a safe and clean environment for staff and customers.
Essex Outdoors is Essex County Council’s provider of residential outdoor activities. The centres provide high quality outdoor education to the young people of Essex and the wider community.
This is a part time role, flexibility on working hours is available for the right applicant.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for organising and carrying out effective cleaning of the centre to ensure an efficient and effective service is provided for staff and customers
- Ensuring standards are met in accordance with cleaning specifications.
- Specific individual and shared targets and objectives are defined annually within the performance management framework.
Our centres:
Bradwell – Our coastal sailing and powerboat centre. A season here could see you out on the water, leading sessions on the beach or biking around the peninsular. Bradwell also offers a residential package for our instructors
Danbury – A large centre set on a 70-acre site of beautiful countryside and woodlands. Danbury runs a large range of both land-based and water-based activities.
Mersea – A large centre in a wonderful coastal setting with views across the Blackwater Estuary. Mersea offers a vast selection of both land and water-based activities. A residential package is available for instructors.
