Community Care Worker – Maison Care
£9.70 per hour plus mileage and travel time paid

Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Maison Care to recruit a Community Care Worker for their home care service in the Manningtree and Clacton areas.
The shift patterns vary with both full time and part time hours available and will require day, and weekend working (Shared among the team). Shift times can be discussed at interview stage.
Maison Care, founded in 1990, provide specialist support and care to elderly adults and adults with autism and learning difficulties in both a residential setting and in their own homes.

These four words are the core of Maison Care and the service we provide. We believe this is not something you can teach, you either have it or you dont… and our staff have it.
Maison Care’s Domiciliary service is currently providing home care to a variety of clients within their own home. This includes elderly, mental health and adults with learning and physical disabilities.
Maison Care has four different rounds which include morning, lunch, tea and bed calls. Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Assisting with medication
- Personal care
- Meal preparation
- Domestic duties
- Help accessing the community
- Completing paperwork
- Liaising with seniors / management to highlight concerns and working with external professionals.
The ideal candidate with have experience working in a domiciliary service and be confident in lone working. You will have a kind caring nature and dedicated to providing an excellent level of care. You will be fully supported and welcomed into our team, in return you will be expected to provide kind and compassionate care, be confident in your rapport and enjoy helping others to realise their full potential.
Note: ECC are advertising this role on behalf of Maison Care and if successful you will be employed by Maison Care.
As part of employment should your role require a DBS check you will be required to register with the DBS update service. The DBS update service ensures all registered DBS certificates are kept up to date and allows authorised parties to view the status of your certificate. This is an annual subscription and you will be responsible for ensuring this is maintained.
