Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Essex & Suffolk Quality Care Agency to recruit Community Care Worker for their domiciliary care service around North Essex (including Clacton, St Oysth, Brightlingsea).

The shift patterns vary with both full time and part time hours available and will require day, evening and weekend working. Shift times can be discussed at interview stage.

Essex & Suffolk Quality Care Agency are a home care agency providing quality care to elderly adults with complex needs throughout North Essex and Suffolk. Essex & Suffolk Quality Care take a person-centred approach that focusses on understanding a person who needs support and learns how they want to be communicated with – what makes them tick, what makes them frustrated, what do they want to achieve? Their team is constantly expanding and we're always looking for professional and dedicated care staff.

As a Community Care Worker with Essex & Suffolk Quality Care Agency you will be providing care to the elderly in their own homes. You will be helping service users with a variety of day-to-day activities including washing, dressing, medication, shopping, preparing meals and cleaning. Good communication skills are an essential part of the role but more importantly community care workers will be kind and caring.

As part of employment should your role require a DBS check you will be required to register with the DBS update service. The DBS update service ensures all registered DBS certificates are kept up to date and allows authorised parties to view the status of your certificate.
