Care Workers - Adult Social Care
Permanent, Full Time
Care for others. Make a difference.
Are you looking for a rewarding career and have the passion to make a difference?
Essex County Council are looking to recruit individuals who are passionate about a career in care; people with the right values and attitude to work with our care providers throughout Essex – could this be you?
Our main priority to find people who understand the value of having great people delivering care to our residents and service users, as much as we do. You don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications to get started – we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent care worker. Equally we welcome applications from those who already have experience in the care sector.
We’re looking for people who have:
- A commitment to quality and being the best they can be
- Providing excellent care and support to all care/service users
- Showing dignity and respect to the people that they will be working with
- Working well together as part of a team
Does this sound like you?
The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. All our service users are unique and that brings great opportunity to really make a difference. Duties may include supporting with personal care needs, as well as helping to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support health and wellbeing such as arts and crafts, watching the football, drama, musical evenings, gardening, shopping trips and social occasions.
There are a range of different shift patterns available to fit in with other commitments you may already have. We will work with you, to understand what you are looking for and match you to an opportunity that will work for you.
If you are interested, we would love to hear from you. Please apply via the Working for Essex website.
Nothing compares to the feeling that comes from knowing that you’ve brightened up someone’s day.
