Care Assistant - Rayleigh - Premier Care
Permanent, Full Time and Part time
£9.90 to £10.30 per hour
Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Premier Care to recruit Care Assistants for their domiciliary service around Rayleigh.
The shift patterns vary with both full time and part time hours available and will require day, evening and some weekend working. Shift times can be discussed at interview stage and negotiated to suit your needs.
*Weekend shifts will be paid at an increased hourly rate of £10.30.

Your enthusiasm, people skills, reliability and “can-do” approach is vital for a role in care. Previous experience in a care role would be helpful but no formal experience is necessary as all our staff receive ongoing training tailored to the specific needs of the individual you support.
- Assisting with personal care
- Assisting with medication
- Assisting with preparing meals
- Assisting with shopping and day to day activities
- Encourage a model of self-care and service user rehabilitation
- Record relevant activities in care plans
- Ensuring all needs are met as outlined in each service users individual care plan

Please note as this is a home care role, applicants will need to have a full driver’s licence and access to their own vehicle.
