Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Anglian Care to recruit Care Assistants for their home care service in Benfleet and the surrounding areas.

The shift patterns vary with both full time and part time hours available and will require day, evening and weekend working. Shift times can be discussed at interview stage.

*Care Assistant: £11.20 day, £11.70 evening, £12.20 weekend day, £12.70 weekend evening. Senior Care Assistant (Must have NVQ level 3): £11.70 day, £12.20 evening, £12.70 weekend day, £13.20 weekend evening.

Anglian Care are looking for Care Assistants to help provide high-quality professional care and support services to adults of all ages, in their own home and in care settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and assisting with personal hygiene.
  • Preparing meals
  • Assisting with housekeeping
  • Administering medication
  • Accompanying clients on trips to the shops, doctors or days out

Please note as this is a home care role, applicants will need to have a full driver’s licence and access to their own vehicle.

As part of employment should your role require a DBS check you will be required to register with the DBS update service. The DBS update service ensures all registered DBS certificates are kept up to date and allows authorised parties to view the status of your certificate.
