Care Assistant – Advinia Home Care
Permanent, Full Time and Part Time
£10.25 per hour
Location: Brentwood and surrounding areas
Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Advinia Home Care to recruit Care Assistants for their home care service covering the Brentwood and the surrounding areas including;
- Kelvedon Hatch
- Harold Wood
The shift patterns vary with both full time and part time hours available and will require day, night and weekend working. Shift times can be discussed at interview stage.

The Care Assistant role is to support service users with all aspects of their day to day living so they can enjoy the best possible quality of life. Duties include;
- All aspects of personal care
- Supporting service users with taking medicines
- Helping the service users with eating and drinking
- Safely use aids and personal equipment in a manner that respects the dignity of the service user.
- Support with housework
- Social and physical activities or mental stimulation (i.e., hobbies, etc)
- Supporting a service user through temporary and terminal illness
Please note as this is a home care role, applicants will need to have a full driver’s licence and access to their own vehicle.

Advinia Home Care applies a robust recruitment vetting process. If you are successful you will need to undergo a Pre-employment Vetting Procedure.
As part of employment should your role require a DBS check you will be required to register with the DBS update service. The DBS update service ensures all registered DBS certificates are kept up to date and allows authorised parties to view the status of your certificate.
